Tapered Roller Bearings

Tapered roller bearings are specially designed to withstand combined (radial and axial) loads. They have single-row, double-row and four-row tapered roller designs. Single row tapered roller bearings can bear radial load and axial load in only one direction. Under radial load, the axial component of the bearing will be affected and must be offset, so it is usually adjusted relative to the second bearing.

Spherical Roller Bearings

Spherical roller bearings have two rows of spherical rollers, the outer ring has a common concave spherical raceway, the inner ring has two concave raceways that are inclined at an angle to the bearing axis, the curvature center of the outer ring raceway is the same as the bearing center. Spherical roller bearings are self-aligning and are not affected by misalignment of the shaft and bearing box or deflection of the shaft, and can compensate for the resulting concentricity errors. In addition to bearing radial load, this type of bearing can also bear two-way axial load and its combined load. It has a large bearing capacity and good vibration and impact resistance.

Thrust spherical roller bearings are the same as spherical roller bearings. The raceway surface of the race is a spherical surface centered on the same point on the central axis of the bearing. The rollers of this type of bearing are spherical, so it has the function of self-aligning. , It is not very sensitive to coaxiality and shaft deflection. This type of bearing has a very large axial load capacity. It can also bear a number of radial loads while bearing axial loads, but the radial load must not exceed 55% of the axial load.

The raceways of the inner and outer rings of ACBB can have relative displacement in the direction of the horizontal axis, that can withstand combined loads—that is, radial and axial loads acting simultaneously. The axial-load carrying capacity of ACBB increases as the contact angle increases. The contact angle is defined as the angle between the line between the contact point of the steel ball and the raceway and the vertical line of the bearing axis on the radial plane. The load is transferred from one raceway to another along the line connecting the contact points of the steel ball and the raceway.

The insert bearing is actually a variant of the deep groove ball bearing. Its characteristic is that its outer ring outer diameter surface is a spherical surface, which can be fitted into the corresponding concave spherical surface of the bearing seat to play the role of centering.
